Kara's Growing Belly

Kara is excited about her growing belly. She's hoping in month 5 she'll actually be able to feel the baby move. Her wonderful friends are letting her borrow maternity clothes, although she's thankful that she can still fit in her work clothes for now.

Bama Baby

Kara was soooooo excited to get these onesies from Jennifer- it looks like Russ is going to be outnumbered by Bama fans once the baby arrives.

We're Pregnant!!!

Due 07.09.09, Baby Kiefer is healthy and has grown to a height of 3.8cm. We just had an ultrasound and the baby was bouncing around, waving it's arms, and kicking it's legs- Russ thinks he will be a soccer player, and Kara thinks she will be a cheerleader. Kara is feeling great and can't wait for her belly to start expanding. We'll keep you posted with pictures and updates.

Frosty

We eventually made it to Michigan to see Russ' family for Christmas after a full day of travel. We arrived in a winter wonderland- about 3 feet of snow on the ground and blizzard conditions outside. We've posted some photos for you to see.

Brasil

We had an amazing time in Brasil- check out our pictures! Jeremy, Jason, Kristin, and baby Jacob were great hosts and we really enjoyed spending time with them and seeing the sights in Rio. We're hoping to go back again in March with a group of students from Woodward's FCA that Kara leads. It's always difficult to come back to our comfortable lives here after being confronted with the reality of the way people all over the world live- I think we are both still sorting through exactly what that means and how we fit into a very big story.

Serenbe

We were excited to have Cottage Living magazine name Serenbe as one of their "Top 10 Neighborhoods" recently and even put us on the cover. If you look really close you might even recognize a couple of the cover models!
